Man. We've just had a huge problem with the neighbors. You see, some kid left their bike in our driveway (by the way, let me add they weren't our guests...) so my Dad, of course not wanting it there, put it on the sidewalk. No one came to get it for two days so my Dad then put it in our garage. He told a few neighbors that if anyone was looking for a bike, he had it. A week passed, and finally a kid came asking for it. Dad told him he wanted to speak to his parents and blah blah...so the kid goes home and tells his parents. Now, my Dad is out of town, and the kid's father comes a-knockin' and starts yelling at my mom about how we shouldn't have hid the bike for over a week with out telling anyone. Well, pardon moi, but 1. Don't blame my Mom, she didn't know and 2. How could we tell this man we had his bike if we didn't know who's bike it was in the first place?!

Anywho, the man basically made us look like a bunch of barbarians and then probably went to go gossip about is to the other neighbors. My Mum called my Dad and told him the story, and then he called the boy's father. Later, Dad told us the man was very apologetic when he got the story straight. Dad, of course, failed to mention that my Mum really had no idea what happened. So now, Mum is upset, which makes me upset, which makes the dog upset. We're a very upset family.
